In Latur district of central Maharashtra, severe rainfall has led to flooding, resulting in the tragic loss of four lives, including a female member of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Officials reported these incidents on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the District Information Officer (DIO), the region has been experiencing heavy downpours for the past three days, which culminated in the drowning of four individuals on Tuesday due to the floodwaters.

The missing individuals have been identified as CRPF personnel Sangeeta Survanshi (32), Vaibhav Pundalik Gaikwad (24), and Vitthal Dhondiba Gawle (50). Rescue operations continued late into the night, but there has been no trace of them.
